Who am I?

First and foremost, like you, I'm a music lover and someone who has always felt drawn to the Guitar. I love the Guitar and love learning, so much that I eventually became a Professional Guitar Instructor endorsed by companies like PRS Guitars, D'Addario, Two Notes. I honestly never thought I'd get here and what most people don't know about me is that I have had lots of struggles with my Guitar playing journey too. 

Yes I've been lucky enough to do some amazing things like tour Japan, release multiple records, get major brand endorsements, become someone who is respected in the Guitar industry and now build a thriving community of aspiring Guitarists as a Teacher but it wasn't always this way. 

I've had periods where I felt really stuck on the Guitar. I've had periods where I took on really bad advice from average Guitar Teachers who had no business teaching and added years to my playing journey as a result. I've had my share of frustration and being ultra pissed off with the Guitar and sometimes even downright depressed that I couldn't get to where I really wanted to in my heart and felt that something was holding me back. I was told many times that I wasn't good enough and that I would never make it and I felt that way inside about my Guitar playing. I've even had virtually no one believe in me and been through times where my friends, family and girlfriends told me to quit this wild pipe dream and fantasy and grow up and get a job. Thank god I didn't listen!

This is what drove me to develop the system I have and become the very best Teacher I could so that NO ONE had to feel how I felt when I was younger. I studied Engineering at University, mostly because I was scared of following my passions in music and the Guitar but out of that experience I learned to develop SYSTEMS and think like an Engineer.

I studied ferociously and watched my progress and results on the instrument soar to higher and higher levels. Eventually I was starting to play all of the stuff I always aspired to but never really believed I could....Dimebag Darrel's incredible lead work after looking up to him for so long...and people were noticing. Then I started getting really crazy and nailing things like Alexi Laiho's solos from Children of Bodom and Necrophagist's lead work. I was hitting my goals that I had when I was growing up and for the longest time never could unlock but it was happening all because of this system I had figured out.  

I recognised what I was doing was working so I started applying it to others. I quickly became a full time Guitar Instructor and became booked out 6 days a week for years because what I was doing was working and my students were so happy with the results they were getting.
